Look Up!

Since April 8th, I have been in awe of reports and posted pictures of Eclipse 2024. The spectacular event gave 31.5 million people within the direct path of the eclipse a break from their surrounding troubles and daily stressful lives. The 4 minutes and 28 seconds of eclipse totality was inspiring. It shouted to humanity a reminder of important facts:

God is in control.

God is consistent.

What God created he monitors and manages with precise accuracy.

God’s creation of a sun that is 400 x larger than the moon, and a moon that is 400x closer to us than the sun… is no accident. Nothing God created is an accident. That includes you.

How easy it is in these uncertain times to focus on the crisis situations that engulf us daily.

Look up dear friend. What seems out of control, is IN CONTROL of a great God. He knows it all. His creation shouts messages of hope. Of peace. Of assurance that today’s battles are all in the palm of His hand.

Look up. God always had the last word. God controls every battle and safely protects His own.
